The Barons are the great rulers and guardians of the cemetery within Dominican Vudú (Las 21 Divisiones). As leaders of the Guede (Black) Division, they preside over the sacred boundary between the living and the dead, safeguarding the resting places of the ancestors and maintaining the natural order of life, death, and rebirth. They are revered for their authority, protection, justice, and unwavering presence during life's greatest transitions.

The Guede are the family of spirits who serve within the Black Division, each carrying their own personality, purpose, and gifts. While some are solemn guardians and healers, others are lively, humorous, or deeply maternal, reflecting the many ways the ancestors continue to guide the living. Together, the Guede teach reverence for those who came before us, remind us to embrace life while we have it, and offer wisdom, protection, healing, and strength through every season of change.

Each Baron / Guede Eleke (Collar) is handcrafted by The House of Ashé as a devotional item for those who honor or wish to deepen their connection with the Black Division.

Measurements:
