Nosferatu’s Crown – Skull Sculpture by Ricardo Pustanio

Nosferatu’s Crown is a haunting one-of-a-kind skull sculpture by New Orleans artist Ricardo Pustanio. A weathered skull rises from an ornate metallic base, crowned by a bat with outstretched wings painted in shifting tones of emerald, cobalt, and shadowed crimson. Its claws grip bone as though sealing a pact between the living and the dead.

Inspired by Carpathian vampire lore, this piece recalls the old belief that bats were the messengers and shapeshifting forms of the Nosferatu—harbingers of death and guardians of eternal night. More than décor, it stands as an altar piece and relic of gothic power, embodying the thin veil between man, beast, and spirit.

A striking statement for collectors of dark art, ritualists, or lovers of vampire mythology, Nosferatu’s Crown brings the chilling beauty of folklore into tangible form.

Due to the weight and dimensions of this piece, in-store pickup is encouraged when possible. If shipping is required, you may receive a partial refund if overcharged at checkout, or an additional invoice if the actual shipping and handling cost exceeds the amount paid.
