The Collar de Peonía is a traditional spiritual necklace made from the striking red-and-black seeds of the Peonía plant (Abrus precatorius). Used within Ocha/Ifá, Espiritismo, and other Caribbean spiritual practices, Peonía is particularly valued for protection, spiritual defense, and helping its wearer overcome indecision and uncertainty.

Unlike an eleke dedicated specifically to an Orisha, the Peonía collar is valued for the spiritual properties and traditional uses of the seeds themselves. Its use varies by lineage and circumstance, and within Ocha it may be prescribed through divination rather than being a standard collar received by everyone.
