He’s also called on by folks who need to sell their house. He’s associated with the lwa Papa Loko, the originary houngan and healer, the the orisha Osain.
Ossain is the orisha that has dominion over all leaf, herb, and nature, also known for healing and magic. Considered as an Herbalist and Magician, Osain is the creator of Onishegun, and is known as a powerful wizard and master of all spells and crafts found in the wild and the untamed areas of nature.
Papa Loko is the first priest, the greatest of houngans, and the guardian of peristyles. He is the master of ceremonial correctness, and an incredibly skilled medsen fey (leaf doctor). He is a mighty healer who walks deep within the mysteries of botanical knowledge and medicine, a master of botanical cures. Papa Loko is also a fair and honourable judge, and arbiter of disputes.
