Favored by Marie Laveau, Saint Jude is widely and lovingly known in Louisiana Voodoo. He is the bringer of miracles, the patron of hopeless cases and desperate situations, and known to be a prompt provider of blessings and assistance!  

The Apostle Saint Jude Thaddeus is the Patron for hopeless, impossible or desperate cases. He is also known as "The Miraculous Saint," & the Patron Saint of "lost causes.” Call upon St. Jude when all other avenues are closed. 

Saint Jude is the Saint of freedom, said to grant freedom to those who are locked away mentally or physically (including in jail), breaking the chains that hold one down. For this reason, St. Jude is often prayed to by those seeking substance misuse recovery. Hospitals and hospital workers are also under his patronage.

If you are depressed and in deep despair; set up your altar and light a white candle to Saint Jude. Pray and pour your heart out to him and he will lift the darkness, so the light can come in. Ask him to break the chains that hold you down; to lift you up and set you free from the dark bounds that hold you. He will rescue you and set you free.
